SPCA – Fix My Pet Application

Arcus Legal is proudly supporting the Nova Scotia SPCA with our “Fur Foot Friday” collaboration!

The SPCA Animal Hospital is currently running a program to help families who have been hesitant or unable to have their male cat fixed, due to the cost associated with the procedure. This is a program where subsidized and affordable rates are offered to those who may need it.

Having your pet fixed not only prevents unwanted litters but can also improve your pet’s life by helping fix and prevent behavioral and health issues!

SPCA 50/50 Lottery

This week is our third week of Fur Foot Friday, in collaboration with the SPCA!

Did you know that the Nova Scotia SPCA has launched their new Weekly 50/50 Lottery?!

There will be a lucky winner every Wednesday at noon! When you buy a ticket, you give an animal a second chance at life. You can also choose to directly support a specific SPCA shelter of your choosing when purchasing tickets, such as the Nova Scotia SPCA – Dartmouth Shelter, as we have done within this collaboration!

Welcome Amanda Forsey

Please join us in welcoming our newest associate lawyer, Amanda Forsey, to the Arcus Legal team! Amanda graduated in 2019 with a Juris Doctor from University of New Brunswick. She also has as a Bachelor of Commerce with a Major in Finance from St. Mary’s University. She will be working closely alongside Erin O’Brien Edmonds, practicing Property Law. SPCA Virtual Adoptions

Arcus is celebrating our second Fur Foot Friday!

Did you know that the SPCA has recently introduced Virtual Adoptions? These innocent pets are some of the many that will be with the SPCA even longer due to the current State of Emergency. Your donation will provide shelter, medicine, toys, and food to fill their hungry bellies. As a thank you for your gift, you will receive monthly updates of your virtual furry friend while they await their forever family.
